Mr. Mohamed Serghini, managing partner at Avaliance, discusses the company’s latest services as an international consulting firm in the field of “Organization and Management of Information Systems,” emphasizing Avaliance’s extensive expertise during the covid-19 outbreak, when digital transformation was at its peak.
Mr. Serghini highlights the significance of their participation in GITEX this year in terms of visibility and new enterprise potential.
* How do you evaluate your participation in GITEX?
Avaliance is exhibiting at GITEX for the first time this year; we attended as visitors in 2019 and planned our participation then. This exhibition brings together all of the main IT businesses, displaying their most cutting-edge technology, artificial intelligence, and security breakthroughs. Because we are a strong market competitor, we have a position here.
As a French/Moroccan corporation with offices in both Paris and Morocco, Avaliance is exhibiting in the Morocco Pavilion this year.
* What are your fields of expertise as Avaliance?
We’ve come to demonstrate three areas of skillsets: IT consulting, technology, and education. The latter is crucial to us because we were able to obtain approval from the French government to be classified as an institute, allowing us to train experts in Cloud, DevOps, security, and other significant areas of modern digital information.
We operate engineering and management high schools in Morocco, therefore we have all of the education string value from school learning and professional training. As a result, Avaliance adopts a global, 360-degree approach. Our skills were put to use in a product called Mipris, which is a health-care application. Its core idea is to put the patient in the middle of everything, with many people watching him: doctors, the government, insurance companies, and even the patient himself. So it’s a circle with a central point, which is the patient, and we’re looking at it from various angles.
We want to establish a relationship between the patient and the doctor from various perspectives, as well as provide the doctor with a tool and ERP that will allow him to manage his office if he has a large business. Everything is done online, with secure data, a cloud-based application that eliminates the need for actual patient files, and the flexibility to provide an assistant or another doctor access to the patient’s medical history.
Doctors can access a patient’s medical files and data if the patient has access to the documents of other doctors, which saves him from storing all of his health records, transporting them from one doctor to another, and avoiding missing, burned, and lost papers because everything is online and digitally accessible by mobile. Insurance companies may also have access to their data.
* Do you have insurance company partners?
We are currently in negotiations with Saham in Morocco, which has a branch in our app and uses it to save money on insurance processing. They still have a large number of people who receive mail in paper form and must retype it into the system.
Our platform is directly connected to the insurer, and the patient will decide when to transmit the digital version of all the documentation the insurance requires in order to reimburse him for the money he spent on his act. As a result, saving time, money, and ensuring a secure transfer are all important factors that satisfy the client because he knows he will be compensated fast.
* Do you have other special products?
On the same note, when we decided to handle the high school sector, we discovered that they are still manual, with no system or classic system in place, papers, handwritings, and documents strewn about, and when you request a dashboard, you must wait a week.
Because we are an IT company, we decided to build a specific system for high schools as well as an ERP that will help us manage and provide transparency to the teachers, staff, and students so they can be aware of everything that is going on at school, on their education, rooms, exams, agendas, chat with teachers, and even request legal documents from the administration. This will also help the director monitor all procedures with real-time dashboards. With the assistance of consultants and experts, we are implementing this product at schools.
Our goal is to assist large corporations implement an IT system that is tailored to their needs and budget. For them, we consult, advise, and build desk technology systems. As a result, we can adapt and provide them with the best solution for their situation. We rely on cost effectiveness and efficiency to provide the best solutions to clients.
* What are your expectations for GITEX?
Our primary goal is to raise awareness and demonstrate that Morocco is an excellent business destination and that the North African region is home to exceptional IT professionals. Furthermore, we want to indicate that we can create products that add value to the IT industry. Avaliance is well-known in France, and it is starting to gain popularity in Morocco. Our ambition is to thrive on a global scale, which is why we are in the Moroccan pavilion.
* Do you have any intentions to expand your business?
One of our objectives is to evolve. Today, we’re discussing the possibility of creating a new office in the United States, as well as a regional office in Dubai. This is our long-term strategy, which will most likely be implemented in 2022. We plan to unveil our new headquarters in Dubai and the United States at GITEX in October 2022.
* What impact did Covid-19 have on your IT firm?
Surprisingly, this year was one of the most profitable in terms of outcome progression. As interest in many of our products from three or four years ago has revived, consumers have called us and requested these services as the best alternative during the pandemic issue. Because we had strategic and new clients, we decided to work under incredibly harsh terms. People wanted additional cloud tools because they were working remotely, they wanted to secure their devices’ access to the server, and other people wanted to speed the digital transition, so we did a lot of cloud business.
As a result, 2020 was a huge success, and 2021 is shaping up to be even better. With Covid-19, we gained recognition, and our customers are aware that we are formidable competitors with extensive knowledge. Covid-19 had a positive impact on our business since our growth rate for 2020 is expected to be 30%, and we anticipate the same rate for 2021.
